Our history, approach and guiding principles
Lawton & Dawe Properties was founded in 2010 by Lucy Dawe with a clear vision. In essence, Lucy wanted her business to be different. Distinctive, even. Why? Because in her previous she witnessed practices that may have been somewhat less than professional. Let’s say no more on that…Therefore, Lucy has been super-keen to instill the following values throughout her business:

Who are we?
We’re a team of eight, not forgetting Spike (Head of HR) and Panda (Spike’s best friend). Each member of staff has received a high degree of training. Why? Because not only is this essential within the property sector, good training delivers excellent customer service.
Our staff treats everyone in the same professional, courteous manner.

Our property team has NO targets. Not a single one. Why does this matter? Because sales targets could mean that your needs could come second, rather than first. That will not do!

Being an accredited member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents isn’t required by law. And, in fact, becoming a member isn’t easy, either. But, it’s how we do things around here. Actually, it’s how we prefer to do things.
