We were founded in 2010 by Lucy Dawe, who leads the business as founder and CEO. Since that time the property sector has grown. Whilst people are still buying and selling, the rental sector has seen a big increase. Landlords are upping their game, with attractive well-maintained properties to attract good quality tenants.
It means a great deal and is very important to us. We are a fully accredited members of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. Firstly, not all letting agencies have this. Why? Because it’s hard to get! And, hard to keep, of course.
Being an ARLA Propertymark member signifies that we adhere to the standards and levels of professionalism that ARLA Propertymark sets out for its members. We have to work to a robust Code of Practice which governs everything we do. All our key stages in letting and managing property are in accordance with this accreditation body.
There are strict rules governing how and where we store your deposit payment. Since 2007, legislation has been in place to ensure that we lodge deposits in a Tenancy Deposit Protection Scheme. A certificate of the deposit will be sent to you within 30 days of the start of your tenancy.
This legislation goes a long way towards protecting our tenants’ money and we support it whole heartedly.

Following the advice from the Government concerning the Covid-19 pandemic, and as a responsible employer, I have made the decision that as of 20th March 2020, my team will be working from home until we are advised otherwise. I have had to implement some changes to ensure continuity of the service you have become accustomed to. As this is unchartered territory, changes may have to be made as the situation unfolds over the next few weeks & months ahead.
I have taken the decision to reduce “office hours” & we will be available during the hours of 10am-4pm Monday to Friday with effect from 20th March 2020.
