The Portland Road MiniFigure Trail

Lawton & Dawe are excited to announce that we’re sponsoring a local Easter event, run by Together Co & Brighton Bricks – “The Portland Road MiniFigure Trail”. This event will be running between the 9th-30th of April on our very own Portland Road; think of it as an Easter egg hunt but with LEGO mini-figures instead!

It can be hard finding things to do with your children over the Easter Holidays. However, with this event, you can enjoy a stroll down Portland Road and take in some of the local independent shops and have a coffee while entertaining the kids!!

From Saturday 9th April through to Saturday 30th April, children of all ages are invited to take part in the Minifigure Trail, where they will be challenged to find all of the LEGO Minifigures hidden in the window displays of some of the shops on Portland Road, with a mystery prize up for grabs!

The trail will be launched at 11 am on Saturday 9th April by the Mayor of Brighton & Hove, Cllr Alan Robins. Along with the trail, there will be interactive games including guessing how many LEGO bricks are in a jar and scanning special QR codes in shop windows which unlock discount codes and chances to win bonus points!

This collaboration between us and Together Co is exciting and a great chance to raise some money for charity. The events are completely free to participate in, but if you do we ask for a small donation to support the charity’s ongoing work in the city.

Together Co is a charity that supports lonely and isolated people in Brighton & Hove. There are 36,000 people living in our city who are always or often lonely. Being lonely, living alone and having poor social connections are as bad for somebody’s health as smoking 15 cigarettes a day.

Our Business Manager, Pippa Newton-John said “We are so thrilled to be involved in this charity event, helping to fundraise for Together Co. Even more exciting is that the MiniFigures are going to be on our very own Portland Road! A fun Easter activity for all the family and a chance to raise money for this brilliant local charity while checking out our neighbourhood!”.

You can download an entry form from brightonbricks.com or togetherco.org or pop in the office to grab one from the 9th of April! We’re so excited for this event to start! You can find out more information about Together Co by clicking here!
